Gallery Shalom - The Art of Sacred Seeing

Rabbi Jerry has been an avid photographer since his year of study in Israel. He lived in Jerusalem and walked every day with a book bag and a camera.

He authored three manuscripts describing his Photo Spiritual Journeys in search of the essence of three luminaries out of Jewish History: Moses Maimonides, Rav Joseph Caro and Spinoza. He walked in their footsteps. He saw what they saw and then he understood more clearly what they contributed to history and to peoplehood.

Spiritual Photography

Since then, every day with camera in hand is an opportunity to discover the sacred in bright shinning sacred places.

He has mounted numerous photographic exhibitions, the last and most successful was held at the Art Center in Ojai, California. The reviewer from the Los Angeles Times called him “a colorsmith.”

On a personal note, the thought occurred to me that you might enjoy owning a print of an image that appears here in RabbiJerry.com. Many have already purchased images for their private collections.

Prints are available in sizes close to:

  • 11 x 14
  • 16 x 20
  • 16 x 24

It’s more cost effective if you do the framing. That is the expensive part of the purchase. A frame can cost over $350 if I have it done. In any case, I will hand deliver or ship your order to you.

Print costs

  • 11 x 14 $160
  • 16 x 20 $180
  • 16 x 24 $195

I remind you that when camera is in hand, I am looking for sparks of the sacred that most folks pass without noticing. You might like a little sacred light in your personal space. I am a religiously observant photographer.

I recommend that you consider an image to brighten your life. Let my spiritual photography uplift your spirit.
